Special Awards
U.S. Department of Education's Tracy Mulvenon (left) presents the American Star of Teaching Award to Wanda Green of Guinyard Elementary School in Saint Matthews, South Carolina. A certified Montessori instructor, Green teaches kindergarten through second-grade and creates up to twenty lesson plans each day. The award recognizes only one teacher in each state. Congratulations to Wanda Green!
