Uncertified Applicants
Applicants who have completed an approved teacher education program but have not been certified must complete the following steps:
By submitting a completed application packet your request for certification will be expedited. All forms referenced below are included in the Certification Application Packet.
Request a Certification Application Packet.
STEP 1
- Complete the three-page application.
- Complete the electronic fingerprint process.
- Submit the non-refundable $95 processing fee.
STEP 2
- Submit an official, sealed transcript from each college or university attended.
- Submit a "College Recommendation Form" from designated college official.
College Recommendation (1 page pdf) to send to your college official.
STEP 3
- Submit passing scores for the required Praxis II specialty area exams.
- Submit passing score on the Principles of Learning and Teaching (PLT) in the specific grade level.
