Why change the recertification model? Will educators be allowed to choose from any of the options on the Renewal Credit matrix for renewal credit work? What does an educator do with renewal credit verification? How can an educator find out about his or her district's Renewal Credit Plan? Who does an educator who is not employed in a SC district contact at the SDE - DEQL to process his or her renewal credits? Does an educator work through his or her district to add on certification and/or a change in certification status? Are there any district employees not served by that district for renewal work? Why can't all educators use all of the options on the Renewal Credit Matrix? Who is responsible for maintaining an educator's renewal credit? How will an educator receive his or her renewed certificate? Why do district plans differ? Why would a district refuse renewal credit for an activity an educator completed?
