PACE Cohort 2
PACE Cohort 2 is divided into two sections: 2A and 2B. Cohort 2A participants are those who begin the training program in July 2004. Cohort 2B participants are those who are hired after July 12, 2004 and begin the training program in December 2004.All PACE Cohort 2 participants are required to complete all stages of the training program. This includes a pre-service training program, first-year Saturday seminars, an in-service training program after the first year of teaching, and second-year seminars. Since this is an accelerated teacher training program, attendance at all training sessions is mandatory. Certification and potential salary changes will be based on successful completion of the seminars and the recommendation of the instructors.
